    WRITER, PERFORMER

    Rebecca McGlynn (she/they); is a transgender queer writer, actor, songwriter, and filmmaker working in film and TV production in Los Angeles. She co-wrote and produced 2016's My Big Fat Blonde Musical, which she has since adapted into a digital series as a creator, writer, composer, cinematographer and editor. Awards include the BBC WRITERSROOM POPCORN AWARD LONGLIST, Hollywood Fringe Festival's TOP OF THE FRINGE, BEST MUSICAL, BEST WORLD PREMIERE, ENCORE PRODUCERS' AWARD, PICK OF THE FRINGE; LA Music Critic's BEST SOLO SHOW; OUTDOOR VOICES FESTIVAL Official Selection; JOSHUA TREE SOLO FESTIVAL Desert Salon Official Selection; SOARING SOLO STARS SERIES Official Selection; SOLOFEST Official Selection; iO West's 24hr SKETCH COMPETITION; LA 48hr Film Project's BEST DIRECTOR. Cladwell (Urinetown), Pooh-Bah (The Mikado), Mrs. Gloop (Willy Wonka), Rachel Brown (Inherit the Wind), and God (Spamalot!). Rebecca is also an Emmy-nominated photojournalist, writer and composer of the musical Norton! The Astonishingly True Story of America's Forgotten Emperor, and founder of Denison University's first non-singing a cappella group, Talkapella.

    DIRECTOR

    Heather Dowling (she/her) is a Soaring Solo instructor and an award-winning writer and actress. Her two one-person shows, Unemployed. Finally. and Fertile, have garnered many awards, including two-time ENCORE AWARD WINNER and BEST ACTOR nominee for the Hollywood Fringe Festival, two-time SELECTION for the prestigious and international LA Women’s Theatre Festival, as well as SELECTION for Solofest, and United Solo in NYC for OFF BROADWAY performance. Heather is also the co-creator, producer and lead of the comedy series Down The Middle, featuring Tom Bergeron, currently on the festival circuit.   • Jessica Lynn Johnson

    DEVELOPMENT PRODUCER

    Jessica Lynn Johnson is winner of BEST NATIONAL SOLO ARTIST, Board Member & Submission Screening Panelist of the LA Women’s Theatre Festival, Director & Instructor at Whitefire Theatre, and Founder & CEO of solo theatre company SOARING SOLO LLC. Jessica has toured Internationally performing & teaching with her solo shows for over a decade. Her 1st solo show “Oblivious to Everyone” was published in “The Book of Estrogenius 2008”, and her 2nd solo show ZE has toured festivals and schools nationwide. Jessica’s work has been seen in the LA Women’s Theatre Festival, the NYC Samuel French Playwright Festival, the Kansas City Fringe Festival, the NYC International Fringe Festival, the Sola Voce Festival, the Monodrama Thespis Festival in Germany, the Black Magic Women’s Theatre Festival in Amsterdam and enjoyed an extended run at NYC’s prestigious Theatre Row on 42nd Street. Johnson currently teaches a weekly FREE 1 person show development class in LA and does small group & private coaching through her company Soaring Solo LLC. As a Director & Developer, Johnson has co-created over 75 solo shows & has proudly taken home TOP OF FRINGE, multiple ENCORE PRODUCER AWARDS, & several other accolades over the years. She is exceedingly excited to keep the tradition alive and direct multiple solo shows in this year’s Hollywood Fringe festival.     Lindsay Braverman (she/her) is a Hollywood Fringe Festival award-winning choreographer based in Los Angeles and is thrilled to be on the Asexuality team! Notable shows Lindsay has choreographed include A Very Die Hard Christmas, The Spidey Project, A Feast of Snacks, My Big Fat Blonde Musical, and more! Lindsay performs as solo burlesque artist Jade Risqué all over LA (follow her at @lindsaybraverwoman), has a pastie-making and costume embellishment business (@jaderisquerhinestones), and teaches all-levels burlesque classes.
